Leafield Cases is incorporating a range of new features in its Aegis™ custom cases, designed, developed and manufactured in the UK.

Rotationally moulded in a resilient UV stabilised SMP polymer, Aegis heavy-duty, waterproof cases are extremely durable and are designed to operate in extreme environments.

The cases boast unique stacking features that allow positive, secure stacking or cross-stacking and even accommodate multiple sizes of case. The design of the stacking feature enhances the structural rigidity of the case while preventing water collection.

Integral, ergonomic, flush moulded handles can be gripped easily, even when wearing gloves, while optional integral high strength corner tie-down points will improve transit stability.
Aegis cases have double skin lids to enhance structural integrity and case bodies can also be double skinned to improve insulation properties and to incorporate moulded-in attachment features.

Custom stainless steel latches and strike plates are attached in an ingenious way to ensure there is no puncturing of the case envelope and no potential leak paths are created.

The list of options available is extensive and includes, edge castors, pallet feet, hinges & stays, pressure relief valves, humidity indicators, RFID tags and custom internal fitments to name but a few.

Performing to the requirements of MIL STD 810, Def Stan 81-41 Level J, STANAG 4280 and Def Stan 81-144, Aegis should be a serious consideration for anyone requiring bespoke, rugged, waterproof, dust-proof cases.
